I don’t know about y’all, but every year I search Pinterest for some brilliant new idea for valentines for the littles to give out at their class parties. They love having original Valentine’s to hand out. Who wants to do what everyone else is doing!?! I just refuse to do the boring store-bought cards…you know the easy ones, that would require like 15 minutes. LOL I’m so not that mom, even though half way through the projects I almost always wish I was.
I’ve always been a total procrastinator (past tense because I’ve decided that if I don’t want to be a person that procrastinates then I need to stop declaring myself a procrastinator.) Every year I end up frantically throwing the valentines together, & frustrated that the process takes more work than I anticipated. Not this year…
This year our Valentines have been selected, printed, & accessories ordered before February 1st. I’m sooooooo proud!!! I found these hilarious whoopie cushion Valentines on Paging Supermom, and S totally loves them.
I wasn’t expecting E to want them too, but I’m not gonna argue with her. She always knows exactly what she wants. I think that’s one of the benefits of being the oldest child…they just always seem to know what they want. I’m the baby of the family, & I so don’t have that gift.
Since both of the littles wanted to do the same thing it made my job so easy. All I had to do was order this package of 36 mini whoopee cushions. The kids were able to print their own cards since our new Canon wireless printer is integrated with all of the devices in the house. (The littles love bing able to easily print pics from their devices.) The only thing left to do is attach the whoopee cushions to the cards. The original post suggested punching a hole, and attaching it with string. We opted for cute tape, & a glue dot on the back. The Price of Pretty Valentine’s for the littles… $0.60. Whoopee!!!
